Just fresh back from the Travel Agent Show in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The agenda was great and I was able to take a few CLIA cruise credits toward Accredited Cruise Counsellor. Topics were timely and very interesting. I have not seen AC in a few years and it was a pleasant surprise. It's a busy place with many new hotel rooms being built and a revitalization taking place in the city. The weather was wonderful for the last few days in October and we spent some time walking on the beach. Enjoyed Brigantine Beach, Ocean City, Sea Isle City and even traveled to see quaint Cape May.RCCL provided us with teeshirts that stated "TRAVEL AGENTS ROCK" which many wore to show our spirit. Must have something to do with the ROCK CLIMBING walls available on board some of their ships!
Adam Stewart presented information for agents on SANDALS resorts, the Luxury Included resorts so popular in the Caribbean. Along with a great lunch, slides presented a glimpse of all the recent transformations happening at Sandals resorts....river suites, new furnishings, many additional rooms, etc. I can't wait to visit my next Sandals resort.
Back to work with renewed enthusiasm for booking travel.
